We are Caroline Booth and Julie Whitaker and you may already know us: we have been working as qualified Speech to Text Reporters since 1999. We were founding partners of STTRs Direct in 2004, having previously worked with STT Reporting – the first company dedicated to providing Speech to Text services for deaf and hard of hearing people.

We cover a wide variety of meetings and events in many different fields of work for individual professional clients and large scale audiences. This includes live subtitles at conferences as well as one-to-one individual provision - and everything in between. We can also provide a remote service for teleconferences and short meetings. From the smallest meeting to the largest conference, we can provide a fully comprehensive, cost-effective service using a variety of display options, ranging from desktop monitors through to full projection facilities with embedded scrolling subtitles.

The quality of a service such as ours is entirely dependent upon the skill and accuracy of the individual STTR. As well as the two founding partners we also work with a team of highly experienced individuals able to provide the same high standards of service.
